Say: 'God suffices as a witness between me and you.' He knows whatsoever is in the heavens and earth. Those who believe in vanity and disbelieve in God -- those, they are the losers. (52) And they demand of thee to hasten the chastisement! But for a stated term the chastisement would have come upon them; but it shall come upon them suddenly, when they are not aware. (53) They ask you to hasten on the torment. And verily! Hell, of a surety, will encompass the disbelievers. (54) (They will become aware of it) the Day when the chastisement will overwhelm them from above and from under their feet, and He will say to them: “Taste now the consequence of the deeds that you used to commit.” (55) My believing servants, My land is vast. Worship Me alone. (56) Every soul must taste death; then it is to Us that you will return. (57) We shall give mansions in Paradise wherein streams flow to the righteously striving believers and therein they will live forever. How blessed is the reward of the hard working people (58) who have exercised patience and who have had trust in their Lord. (59) And how many an animal there is that beareth not its own provision! Allah provideth for it and for you. He is the Hearer, the Knower. (60) And if you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth and made the sun and the moon subservient, they will certainly say, Allah. Whence are they then turned away? (61) God gives abundantly to whom He will and sparingly to whom He pleases. God has full knowledge of all things. (62) And thus it is: if thou ask them, "Who is it that sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless?" - they will surely answer, "God." Say thou: "[Since this is so,] all praise is due to God [alone]!" But most of them will not use their reason: (63)
