In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin! These are the verses of the Quran and the Book that makes (things) clear (1) As guidance and good tidings for the believers (2) Who establish the prayer and give the poor-rate, and of the Hereafter they are convinced. (3) We have made the deeds of those who do not believe in the life to come, attractive to them and they wander about blindly. (4) Such are those for whom there is an evil punishment, and in the Everlasting Life are the greatest losers. (5) But [as for thee, O believer,] verily, thou hast received this Qur'an out of the grace of One who is wise, all-knowing. (6) Moses said to his family, "I have seen some fire. I shall bring you some news about it or some fire so that you can warmyourselves". (7) But when Moses came to the fire, a call was sounded: "Blessed is He Who is in the fire and whatever is around it. Glory be to Allah, the Sustainer of all in the Universe. (8) O Moses, verily this is Me, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise! (9) And cast down your staff. So when he saw it in motion as if it were a serpent, he turned back retreating and did not return: O Musa! fear not; surely the apostles shall not fear in My presence; (10) “Except the one* who does injustice and then after evil changes it for virtue then indeed I am Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Other than the Prophets.) (11) “And put your hand inside your armpit it will come out shining white, not due to any illness; a sign among the nine signs towards Firaun and his people; they are indeed a lawless nation.” (12) But when there came to them Our visible signs, they said, "This is obvious magic." (13) And they denied them, though their souls acknowledged them, for spite and arrogance. Then see the nature of the consequence for the wrong-doers! (14)
