In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ TA SIN. THESE are the verses of the Qur'an, and collection of explicit laws, (1) A guidance and good tidings for the believers, (2) Who keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and of the hereafter, they are sure. (3) Those who do not believe in the Hereafter We have made their deeds seem good to them, so they are astray. (4) Those are they for whom shall be an evil torment. And in the Hereafter they shall be the greatest losers. (5) Thou receivest the Koran from One All-wise, All-knowing. (6) [Mention] when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves." (7) But when he came to it, he was called, "Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds. (8) O Moses, indeed it is I - Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise." (9) Cast down thy staff.' And when he saw it quivering like a serpent he turned about, retreating, and turned not back. 'Moses, fear not; surely the Envoys do not fear in My presence, (10) Excepting any who may have done wrong and thereafter changeth evil for good then verily I am Forgiving, Merciful. (11) Now put your hand inside your cloak next to your bosom and it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This will be one of the nine signs for Pharaoh and his people: for truly they are a rebellious people." (12) And when Our signs came as distinct proofs, they said: "This is only magic." (13) and they denied them, though their souls acknowledged them, wrongfully and out of pride. Behold, how was the end of the workers of corruption! (14)
