The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta Sin! These are the verses of the Quran and the Book that makes (things) clear (1) A guidance and good tidings for believers (2) Those who keep the prayer established and pay the charity and are certain of the Hereafter. (3) As to those who do not believe in the hereafter, We have surely made their deeds fair-seeming to them, but they blindly wander on. (4) Such are they for whom a grievous Penalty is (waiting); and in the Hereafter theirs will be the greatest loss. (5) And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Qur'an from one Wise and Knowing. (6) When Musa said to his family: Surely I see fire; I will bring to you from it some news, or I will bring to you therefrom a burning firebrand so that you may warm yourselves. (7) But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard: "Blessed are those in the fire and those around: and glory to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. (8) "O Musa (Moses)! Verily! It is I, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (9) And cast thou down thy staff. Then when he saw it wriggling as though it were a serpent, he turned in flight and looked not back. O Musa! fear thou not; verily in My presence the sent ones fear not. (10) as for those who do wrong and then do good after evil, I am most forgiving, most merciful. (11) Put your hand in the bosom of your shirt; it will come out white without any blemish. This will be one of nine tokens for the Pharaoh and his people, who are a wicked lot indeed." (12) But when Our signs came to them visibly, they said: 'This is plain sorcery.' (13) and in their wickedness and self-exaltation they rejected them, although their minds were convinced of their truth: and behold what happened in the end to those spreaders of corruption! (14)
