And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. (192) The honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down (193) upon thy heart, that thou mayest be one of the warners, (194) In plain Arabic language. (195) Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. (196) And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? (197) And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, (198) And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). (199) We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: (200) They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. (201) So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. (202) and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' (203) Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? (204) Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, (205) and then Our torment will strike them, (206) (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? (207) And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. (208) As a reminder; and never have We been unjust. (209) And the devils have not brought the revelation down. (210) They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. (211) Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it. (212) So do not call on any deity besides God, lest you incur His punishment. (213) Warn your close relatives (214) And be kind to him who follows you of the believers. (215) But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. (216) Put your trust in the Almighty, the Most Merciful, (217) who can see whether you stand up (218) and when thou turnest about among those who bow. (219) He is all-hearing and all-knowing. (220) Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? (221) They come down on every guilty impostor. (222) The satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars. (223) Poets are followed by the perverse. (224) Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] (225) and how they say that which they do not? (226) Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned! (227)
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
