And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), (192) the Faithful Spirit has brought it down (193) into your heart, so that you may be a warner, (194) In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. (195) And most surely the same is in the scriptures of the ancients. (196) And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? (197) Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs, (198) and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. (199) Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: (200) They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. (201) It will come upon them unawares, and they will not comprehend it. (202) Then they will say: Shall we be respited? (203) Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? (204) Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years (205) then there comes on them that they were promised, (206) of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? (207) And We destroyed no township but it had its warners (208) To advise; and We never oppress. (209) Not by the Satans has it been brought down; (210) They are not worthy of it, nor have they power. (211) Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it. (212) So call on no other god but God, lest you are condemned to torment; (213) Warn your nearest kinsmen, (214) and be meek to the believers who follow you. (215) And if they disobey thee, say thou: verily I am quit of that which ye work. (216) Put your trust in the Mighty One, the Merciful, (217) Who sees you when you stand up. (218) and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: (219) He is all-hearing and all-knowing. (220) Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? (221) They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. (222) (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. (223) And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. (224) See you not that they speak about every subject (praising others right or wrong) in their poetry? (225) And that they say that which they do not do, (226) The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. (227)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
