Juz 19
The Companions of the Wood rejected the messengers. (176) Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God? (177) I am a trustworthy messenger to you: (178) I ask of you no wage for this; (179) I ask of you no reward for this. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. (180) ۞ Give full measure and do not cheat; (181) "And weigh with the true and straight balance. (182) and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. (183) And guard against (the punishment of) Him who created you and the former nations. (184) They said, 'Thou art merely one of those that are bewitched; (185) for thou art nothing but a mortal like ourselves! And behold, we think that thou art a consummate liar! (186) Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' (187) (Shu'aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing." (188) But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! (189) Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. (190) But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! (191)
