Juz 19
The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. (176) Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God? (177) I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. (178) so fear God, and obey me. (179) "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. (180) ۞ Fill up the measure, do not be among the cheats, (181) Weigh on an even balance. (182) And do not withhold from people what belongs to them, and do not corrupt the land; (183) So fear Him Who created you and the former generations. (184) They said: thou art but of the bewitched; (185) and a mere mortal like us. We think you are a liar. (186) So cause thou a fragment of the heaven to fall upon us, if thou art of the truth-tellers. (187) He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." (188) But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. (189) In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. (190) But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! (191)
