Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. (61) He it is Who caused the night and the day to succeed each other so that everyone who desires may learn a lesson or become grateful. (62) (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." (63) And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] (64) who say, "Our Lord, ward off from us the punishment of Hell, for its punishment is a dreadful torment to suffer. (65) Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence." (66) And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; (67) who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, (68) he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, (69) Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. (70) And whoever repents and does good deeds so he has inclined towards Allah with repentance as was required. (71) those who do not testify falsely and when they come across something impious, pass it by nobly, (72) who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. Rather, they try to understand and think about them. (73) And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun" (pious - see V. 2:2 and the footnote of V. 3:164)." (74) Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' (75) Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence. (76) Say: 'My Lord cares little for you if it was not for your supplication, indeed you have belied (the Messenger and the Koran) so it (the punishment) will be fastened' (77)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
