Blest be He Who hath placed big stars in the heaven, and hath placed therein a lamp and a moon enlightening. (61) And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. (62) And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, (63) And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. (64) Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous,- (65) Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; (66) Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes); (67) who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin (68) doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, (69) Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. (70) And whosoever repenteth and doeth good, he verily repenteth toward Allah with true repentance - (71) And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. (72) And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. (73) who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." (74) They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." (75) Therein they shall dwell forever; fair it is as a lodging-place and an abode. (76) Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come. (77)
