Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. (61) And it is He Who hath appointed the night and the day a succession, for him who desireth to consider or desireth to be grateful. (62) (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." (63) who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; (64) And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; (65) "Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in"; (66) And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes). (67) And those who do not worship any other deity along with Allah, and do not unjustly kill any living thing which Allah has forbidden, nor commit adultery; and whoever does this will receive punishment. (68) he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, (69) Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. (70) And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- (71) And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by frivolity, they pass by with dignity; (72) who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not down thereat deaf and blind; (73) They pray, "Lord, let our spouses and children be the delight of our eyes and ourselves examples for the pious ones." (74) They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, (75) Abiders therein: excellent it is as an abode and as a station. (76) Say: 'My Lord esteems you not at all were it not for your prayer, for you have cried lies, and it shall surely be fastened.' (77)
God the Almighty always says the truth.
