۞ And those who do not expect to meet Us said, “Why were the angels not sent down to us or we been able to see our Lord?” Indeed they thought too highly of themselves and they turned extremely rebellious. (21) There will be no good tidings for the guilty on the day they see the angels; and they will cry out, "Keep away, keep away!" (22) And We shall turn unto the work they did and make it scattered motes. (23) And for the People of the Garden on that day is a better destination and account, and a better place of afternoon rest. (24) And on the Day whereon the heaven shall be rent asunder from the clouds and the angels shall be sent down with a great descending. (25) The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty), belonging to the Most Beneficent (Allah), and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism). (26) On the Day when the wrong-doer shall gnaw his hands saying: would that I had taken with the apostle a way! (27) "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a friend! (28) Certainly he led me astray from the reminder after it had come to me; and the Shaitan fails to aid man. (29) The Messenger will say, "Lord, my people did indeed discard the Quran," (30) Thus have We made for every prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help. (31) And those who disbelieve say: Why is the Qur'an not revealed unto him all at once? (It is revealed) thus that We may strengthen thy heart therewith; and We have arranged it in right order. (32) There is not an example they advance to which We do not give you a right answer and a better explanation. (33) (As for) those who shall be gathered upon their faces to hell, they are in a worse plight and straying farther away from the path. (34)
