Juz 19
۞ But those who do not believe that they are destined to meet Us are wont to say: "Why have no angels been sent down to us?" - or, "Why do we not see our Sustainer?" Indeed, they are far too proud of themselves, having rebelled [against God's truth] with utter disdain! (21) On the Day they will see the angels, no glad tidings will there be for the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) that day. And they (angels) will say: "All kinds of glad tidings are forbidden for you," [None will be allowed to enter Paradise except the one who said: La ilaha ill-Allah, "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and acted practically on its legal orders and obligations]. (22) We shall call their deeds into Our presence and scatter them into the air as dust (turn them devoid of all virtue). (23) Those who have earned the Garden on that day will be better in their home and happier in their place of noonday rest; (24) And the day when the sky will be split asunder with clouds and the angels will be sent down in full. (25) The dominion on that Day shall be the true dominion of the Compassionate, and it shall be a day upon the infidels hard. (26) On that Day, the wrongdoer will bite his hands and say, "Would that I had walked in the Messenger's path! (27) Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! (28) For it was he, who had deluded me to reject the Admonition which had come to me. Satan has proved very treacherous to man. " (29) And the Apostle will say: my Lord! verily my people took this Qur'an as a thing to be shunned. (30) Even so have We appointed unto every prophet an opponent from among the guilty; but Allah sufficeth for a Guide and Helper. (31) The unbelievers say, 'Why has the Koran not been sent down upon him all at once?' Even so, that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have chanted it very distinctly. (32) and [that] they [who deny the truth] might never taunt thee with any deceptive half-truth without Our conveying to thee the [full] truth and [providing thee] with the best explanation. (33) Those who will be dragged headlong into Hell shall have an evil place to dwell in, for they have strayed far from the right path. (34)
