Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ And those who look not for a meeting with Us say: Why are angels not sent down unto us and (Why) do we not see our Lord! Assuredly they think too highly of themselves and are scornful with great pride. (21) On the day when they behold the angels, on that day there will be no good tidings for the guilty; and they will cry: A forbidding ban! (22) We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. (23) The Companions of the Garden will be well, that Day, in their abode, and have the fairest of places for repose. (24) The Day the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and angels shall be sent down, descending (in ranks),- (25) true sovereignty on that Day will belong to the Gracious One, and it will be a hard Day for those who deny the truth. (26) The Day that the wrong-doer will bite at his hands, he will say, "Oh! would that I had taken a (straight) path with the Messenger! (27) Woe alas, ah would I had not taken so-and-so as friend! (28) He verily led me astray from the Reminder after it had reached me. Satan was ever man's deserter in the hour of need. (29) And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. (30) For so it is that against every prophet We have set up enemies from among those who are lost in sin: yet none can guide and give succour as thy Sustainer does! (31) And those who disbelieve say: Why has not the Quran been revealed to him all at once? Thus, that We may strengthen your heart by it and We have arranged it well in arranging. (32) And they bring thee no similitude but We bring thee the Truth (as against it), and better (than their similitude) as argument. (33) Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. (34)
