۞ Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety! (21) Upon the day that they see the angels, no good tidings that day for the sinners; they shall say, 'A ban forbidden!' (22) And We turned all the deeds they had performed into scattered floating specks of dust. (23) The dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in a better abiding-place and a better resting-place. (24) And on the Day on which the skies, together with the clouds, shall burst asunder, and the angels are made to descend in a mighty descent (25) true sovereignty on that Day will belong to the Gracious One, and it will be a hard Day for those who deny the truth. (26) Upon that Day the harmdoer shall bite his hands, and say: 'Would that I had taken a Path with the Messenger! (27) Woe alas, ah would I had not taken so-and-so as friend! (28) Assuredly he misled me from the admonition after it had come unto me. Verily the Satan is ever unto man a betrayer. (29) And the Noble Messenger submitted, “O my Lord indeed my people took this Qur’an as worthy of being abandoned.” (30) For so it is that against every prophet We have set up enemies from among those who are lost in sin: yet none can guide and give succour as thy Sustainer does! (31) The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. (32) And they come not unto thee with a similitude but We bring thee the truth and an excellent interpretation. (33) Those who will be gathered into Gehenna (Hell) upon their faces shall be in the worst in place, and have gone further astray from the Path. (34)
