Juz 19
۞ And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence. (21) On the day when the criminals see the angels, there will, certainly, be no rejoicing for them. Rather, they will plead to the angels, "Please keep away from us (do not drive us into hell)." (22) Then We shall turn to what they had done and render it vain like scattered dust. (23) Fellows of the Garden shall be on that Day in a goodly abode and a goodly repose. (24) On that Day, a cloud will appear rending the sky and the angels will be senthi down rank after rank. (25) That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful: it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the misbelievers. (26) And the day when the unjust will gnaw his hands, saying, “Alas, if only I had chosen a way along with the (Noble) Messenger (of Allah)!” (27) Woe alas, ah would I had not taken so-and-so as friend! (28) “He indeed led me astray from the advice that had come to me”; and Satan deserts man, leaving him unaided. (29) The Messenger says, 'O my Lord, behold, my people have taken this Koran as a thing to be shunned.' (30) thus did We assign to every prophet an enemy from among the sinners; your Lord is sufficient as a guide and a helper. (31) Now they who are bent on denying the truth are wont to ask. "Why has not the Qur'an been bestowed on him from on high in one single revelation?" [it has been revealed] in this manner so that We might strengthen thy heart thereby - for We have so arranged its component parts that they form one consistent whole (32) And (there is another wisdom in this: whenever they brought to you an odd thing (or a strange question), We sent its right answer to you in time and explained it all in the best manner, (33) (As for) those who shall be gathered upon their faces to hell, they are in a worse plight and straying farther away from the path. (34)
