Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety! (21) On the day when the criminals see the angels, there will, certainly, be no rejoicing for them. Rather, they will plead to the angels, "Please keep away from us (do not drive us into hell)." (22) And We turned all the deeds they had performed into scattered floating specks of dust. (23) Those who have earned the Garden on that day will be better in their home and happier in their place of noonday rest; (24) The day the heavens splits asunder with a dazzling white cloud gathering and the angels descend in a continuous stream, (25) The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers. (26) And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way. (27) Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. (28) "He did lead me astray from the Message (of Allah) after it had come to me! Ah! the Evil One is but a traitor to man!" (29) And the Apostle will say: my Lord! verily my people took this Qur'an as a thing to be shunned. (30) thus did We assign to every prophet an enemy from among the sinners; your Lord is sufficient as a guide and a helper. (31) The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. (32) And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof). (33) Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. (34)
