Juz 19
۞ And those who do not expect to meet Us said, “Why were the angels not sent down to us or we been able to see our Lord?” Indeed they thought too highly of themselves and they turned extremely rebellious. (21) On the Day when they behold the angels, there will be no glad tidings for the sinners. They will say: 'A refuge which is forbidden' (22) for We shall have turned towards all the [supposedly good] deeds they ever wrought, and shall have transformed them into scattered dust (23) The dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in a better abiding-place and a better resting-place. (24) On that Day, the heaven is split asunder with clouds and the angels are sent down in majesty, (25) The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels! (26) The Day that the wrong-doer will bite at his hands, he will say, "Oh! would that I had taken a (straight) path with the Messenger! (27) Ah! woe unto me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! (28) He indeed led me astray from the Remembrance, after it had come to me; Satan is ever a forsaker of men.' (29) The Messengers will say, "Lord, my people had abandoned this Quran." (30) Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, criminals, etc.). But Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper. (31) The unbelievers say: "Why was the whole Qur'an not sent down all at once to him?" It was sent thus that We may keep your heart resolute. So We enunciated it by steps and distinctly. (32) They do not bring to you any parable but that which We bring to you is the truth and better in explanation. (33) [And so, tell those who are bent on denying the truth that] they who shall be gathered unto hell upon their faces - it is they who [in the life to come] will be worst in station and still farther astray from the path [of truth]!
