۞ And those who do not expect to meet Us said, “Why were the angels not sent down to us or we been able to see our Lord?” Indeed they thought too highly of themselves and they turned extremely rebellious. (21) The Day, when they will see the angels, will not be a day of rejoicing for the criminals; they will cry out, "May Allah save us!" (22) We shall advance upon what work they have done, and make it a scattered dust. (23) The inhabitants of Paradise that day, better shall be their lodging, fairer their resting-place. (24) On that Day, a cloud will appear rending the sky and the angels will be senthi down rank after rank. (25) the Kingdom that day, the true Kingdom, shall belong to the All-merciful and it shall be a day harsh for the unbelievers. (26) On the day when the wrong-doer gnaweth his hands, he will say: Ah, would that I had chosen a way together with the messenger (of Allah)! (27) Would that I had never chosen soandso for my companion! (28) For it was he, who had deluded me to reject the Admonition which had come to me. Satan has proved very treacherous to man. " (29) And the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Quran (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and orders). (30) thus did We assign to every prophet an enemy from among the sinners; your Lord is sufficient as a guide and a helper. (31) And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Quran revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet SAW in 23 years.). (32) And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof). (33) Those who shall be mustered to Gehenna upon their faces -- they shall be worse in place, and gone further astray from the way. (34)
