Juz 19
۞ Those who do not expect a meeting with Us say, "Why are angels not sent down to us?" Or "Why do we not see our Lord?" Surely, they are too proud of themselves and have greatly exceeded all bounds. (21) The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible." (22) And We shall turn unto the work they did and make it scattered motes. (23) And for the People of the Garden on that day is a better destination and account, and a better place of afternoon rest. (24) The day the heavens splits asunder with a dazzling white cloud gathering and the angels descend in a continuous stream, (25) The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels! (26) And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). (27) Alas, would that I had not taken So-and-so for a friend! (28) he made me forgetful of the warning after it had reached me. Satan is man's great betrayer." (29) And the Noble Messenger submitted, “O my Lord indeed my people took this Qur’an as worthy of being abandoned.” (30) Thus do We keep opponents among the sinners for every apostle; yet your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper. (31) The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. (32) They do not bring to you any parable but that which We bring to you is the truth and better in explanation. (33) They who shall be gathered prone on their faces unto Hell - those shall be worst in respect of place and the most astray in respect of path. (34)
