Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ Those people, who have no fear of coming before Us, say, "Why should not the angels be sent down to us? Or else we should see our Lord. " Great arrogance have they assumed in regard to themselves, and have transgressed all limits in their rebellion. (21) On the day when the criminals see the angels, there will, certainly, be no rejoicing for them. Rather, they will plead to the angels, "Please keep away from us (do not drive us into hell)." (22) We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. (23) On that Day, the companions of Paradise (will have) a better abode and a finer restingplace. (24) And on the Day on which the skies, together with the clouds, shall burst asunder, and the angels are made to descend in a mighty descent (25) the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. (26) On the Day when the wrong-doer shall gnaw his hands saying: would that I had taken with the apostle a way! (27) Alas, would that I had not taken So-and-so for a friend! (28) "He did lead me astray from the Message (of Allah) after it had come to me! Ah! the Evil One is but a traitor to man!" (29) And the Noble Messenger submitted, “O my Lord indeed my people took this Qur’an as worthy of being abandoned.” (30) And this is how We had appointed guilty people as enemies to every Prophet; and Allah is Sufficient, to guide and to aid. (31) The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. (32) They do not bring to you any parable but that which We bring to you is the truth and better in explanation. (33) Those who shall be mustered to Gehenna upon their faces -- they shall be worse in place, and gone further astray from the way. (34)
