Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ And those who fear not the meeting with Us say: wherefore are not angels sent down unto us or wherefore we see not our Lord! Assuredly they have proven stiff-necked in their souls and have exceeded the bounds with excess great. (21) On the day when they behold the angels, on that day there will be no good tidings for the guilty; and they will cry: A forbidding ban! (22) And We shall turn unto the work they did and make it scattered motes. (23) The dwellers of Paradise (i.e. those who deserved it through their Faith and righteousness) will, on that Day, have the best abode, and have the fairest of places for repose. (24) On that day the sky will be crystal blue, clear of clouds. The angels will descend in groups (25) and the Absolute kingdom will belong to the Beneficent God. (26) It will be a hard day for the unbelievers. It will be a day when the unjust will bite their fingers, (regretfully) saying, "Would that we had followed the path of the Messengers. (27) Alas, would that I had not taken So-and-so for a friend! (28) For it was he, who had deluded me to reject the Admonition which had come to me. Satan has proved very treacherous to man. " (29) And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned." (30) And this is how We had appointed guilty people as enemies to every Prophet; and Allah is Sufficient, to guide and to aid. (31) The unbelievers say, 'Why has the Koran not been sent down upon him all at once?' Even so, that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have chanted it very distinctly. (32) There is not an example they advance to which We do not give you a right answer and a better explanation. (33) They who shall be gathered prone on their faces unto Hell - those shall be worst in respect of place and the most astray in respect of path. (34)
