Juz 19
۞ Say those who look not to encounter Us, 'Why have the angels not been sent down on us, or why see we not our Lord?' Waxed proud they have within them, and become greatly disdainful. (21) [Yet] on that Day - the Day on which they shall see the angels there will be no glad tiding for those who were lost in sin; and they will exclaim, "By a forbidding ban [are we from God's grace debarred]!" (22) We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. (23) Fellows of the Garden shall be on that Day in a goodly abode and a goodly repose. (24) On a Day when the sky will split open with its clouds and the angels are sent down rank upon rank, (25) the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. (26) and a Day on which the evildoer will bite his hands [in despair,] exclaiming: "Oh, would that I had followed the path shown to me by the apostle! (27) Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. (28) He led me astray from the Warning after it had come to me. Satan always betrays man. (29) AND [on that Day] the Apostle will say: "O my Sustainer! Behold, [some of] my people have come to regard this Qur'an as something [that ought to be] discarded!" (30) Thus do We keep opponents among the sinners for every apostle; yet your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper. (31) And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly. (32) They bring not to thee any similitude but that We bring thee the truth, and better in exposition. (33) Those who will be gathered into Gehenna (Hell) upon their faces shall be in the worst in place, and have gone further astray from the Path. (34)
