Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ And those who look not for a meeting with Us say: Why are angels not sent down unto us and (Why) do we not see our Lord! Assuredly they think too highly of themselves and are scornful with great pride. (21) On the day when the criminals see the angels, there will, certainly, be no rejoicing for them. Rather, they will plead to the angels, "Please keep away from us (do not drive us into hell)." (22) And We shall set upon that which they worked, and shall make it as dust wind-scattered. (23) The inhabitants of the Garden will have the best residence and the finest lodging on that Day. (24) The day the heavens splits asunder with a dazzling white cloud gathering and the angels descend in a continuous stream, (25) The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers. (26) The sinner will then bite his hand and say: "Would that I had taken the road with the Prophet. (27) Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! (28) He led me astray from the Warning after it had come to me. Satan always betrays man. (29) The Messenger will say, "Lord, my people did indeed discard the Quran," (30) And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper. (31) The unbelievers ask: 'Why was the Koran not sent down to him all at once' As such We strengthen your heart thereby, and We have recited it very distinctly. (32) They do not bring to you any parable but that which We bring to you is the truth and better in explanation. (33) Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces, such will be in an evil state, and most astray from the (Straight) Path. (34)
