Juz 19
۞ Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety! (21) [Yet] on that Day - the Day on which they shall see the angels there will be no glad tiding for those who were lost in sin; and they will exclaim, "By a forbidding ban [are we from God's grace debarred]!" (22) We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. (23) The companions of Paradise, that Day, are [in] a better settlement and better resting place. (24) Upon the day that heaven is split asunder with the clouds and the angels are sent down in majesty, (25) the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. (26) It will be a hard day for the unbelievers. It will be a day when the unjust will bite their fingers, (regretfully) saying, "Would that we had followed the path of the Messengers. (27) Would that I had never chosen soandso for my companion! (28) He led me astray from the Remembrance after it had reached me, satan is ever the foresaker of humans' (29) And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. (30) And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper. (31) And the disbelievers say, “Why was the Qur’an not sent down to him all at once?” This is how We sent it in stages, in order to strengthen your heart with it and We read it slowly, in stages. (32) And (there is another wisdom in this: whenever they brought to you an odd thing (or a strange question), We sent its right answer to you in time and explained it all in the best manner, (33) Those who will be dragged headlong into Hell shall have an evil place to dwell in, for they have strayed far from the right path. (34)
