۞ And those who fear not the meeting with Us say: wherefore are not angels sent down unto us or wherefore we see not our Lord! Assuredly they have proven stiff-necked in their souls and have exceeded the bounds with excess great. (21) There will be no good tidings for the guilty on the day they see the angels; and they will cry out, "Keep away, keep away!" (22) We shall call their deeds into Our presence and scatter them into the air as dust (turn them devoid of all virtue). (23) The dwellers of Paradise on that day will have the best residence and resting place. (24) And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent. (25) The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels! (26) The Day that the wrong-doer will bite at his hands, he will say, "Oh! would that I had taken a (straight) path with the Messenger! (27) "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a friend! (28) He led me away from the true guidance after it had come to us. Satan is a traitor to people." (29) The prophet will say: "O my Lord, my people had fettered the Qur'an." (30) O Muhammad, in this very way We have made the criminals the enemies of every Prophet, but your Lord suffices for you as your Guide and Helper. (31) And the disbelievers say, “Why was the Qur’an not sent down to him all at once?” This is how We sent it in stages, in order to strengthen your heart with it and We read it slowly, in stages. (32) There is not an example they advance to which We do not give you a right answer and a better explanation. (33) those who are going to be driven to Hell upon their faces, have taken an utterly wrong stand and their way is most erroneous! (34)
