Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety! (21) On the Day they will see the angels, no glad tidings will there be for the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) that day. And they (angels) will say: "All kinds of glad tidings are forbidden for you," [None will be allowed to enter Paradise except the one who said: La ilaha ill-Allah, "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and acted practically on its legal orders and obligations]. (22) And We shall set upon that which they worked, and shall make it as dust wind-scattered. (23) The inhabitants of Paradise that day, better shall be their lodging, fairer their resting-place. (24) The Day the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and angels shall be sent down, descending (in ranks),- (25) The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers. (26) On that Day, the wrongdoer will bite his hands and say, "Would that I had walked in the Messenger's path! (27) Woe to us! Would that we had not been friends with so and so. (28) “He indeed led me astray from the advice that had come to me”; and Satan deserts man, leaving him unaided. (29) And the Messenger will say, "O my Lord, my people had made this Qur'an the object of their ridicule." (30) And this is how We had appointed guilty people as enemies to every Prophet; and Allah is Sufficient, to guide and to aid. (31) And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly. (32) And they shall not bring to you any argument, but We have brought to you (one) with truth and best in significance. (33) (As for) those who shall be gathered upon their faces to hell, they are in a worse plight and straying farther away from the path. (34)
