۞ And those who do not expect to meet Us said, “Why were the angels not sent down to us or we been able to see our Lord?” Indeed they thought too highly of themselves and they turned extremely rebellious. (21) Upon the day that they see the angels, no good tidings that day for the sinners; they shall say, 'A ban forbidden!' (22) and We shall take all that they did and turn it into scattered dust. (23) Fellows of the Garden shall be on that Day in a goodly abode and a goodly repose. (24) On that Day, a cloud will appear rending the sky and the angels will be senthi down rank after rank. (25) The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels! (26) And the day when the unjust one shall bite his hands saying: O! would that I had taken a way with the Apostle (27) Woe to us! Would that we had not been friends with so and so. (28) “He indeed led me astray from the advice that had come to me”; and Satan deserts man, leaving him unaided. (29) And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. (30) To every Prophet We have appointed an enemy among the harmdoers; your Lord is Sufficient for you, a Guide and a Helper. (31) The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. (32) And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. (33) those who are going to be driven to Hell upon their faces, have taken an utterly wrong stand and their way is most erroneous! (34)
