Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ Say those who look not to encounter Us, 'Why have the angels not been sent down on us, or why see we not our Lord?' Waxed proud they have within them, and become greatly disdainful. (21) On the Day when they behold the angels, there will be no glad tidings for the sinners. They will say: 'A refuge which is forbidden' (22) and We shall take all that they did and turn it into scattered dust. (23) The inmates of Paradise will have a better abode that day, and a better resting place. (24) And the day when the sky will be split asunder with clouds and the angels will be sent down in full. (25) True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day. (26) Upon the day the evildoer shall bite his hands, saying, 'Would that I had taken a way along with the Messenger! (27) Ah! woe unto me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! (28) "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Quran) after it had come to me. And Shaitan (Satan) is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need." (29) And the messenger saith: O my Lord! Lo! mine own folk make this Qur'an of no account. (30) And even so We appointed unto every prophet an enemy from among the culprits. And thine Lord sufficeth as Guide and Helper. (31) The unbelievers say, 'Why has the Koran not been sent down upon him all at once?' Even so, that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have chanted it very distinctly. (32) And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. (33) Those who will be dragged headlong into Hell shall have an evil place to dwell in, for they have strayed far from the right path. (34)
