Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us say: "Why are no angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" They are full of self-conceit and behave with intense arrogance. (21) [Yet] on that Day - the Day on which they shall see the angels there will be no glad tiding for those who were lost in sin; and they will exclaim, "By a forbidding ban [are we from God's grace debarred]!" (22) for We shall have turned towards all the [supposedly good] deeds they ever wrought, and shall have transformed them into scattered dust (23) And for the People of the Garden on that day is a better destination and account, and a better place of afternoon rest. (24) The Day the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and angels shall be sent down, descending (in ranks),- (25) The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers. (26) And the day when the unjust will gnaw his hands, saying, “Alas, if only I had chosen a way along with the (Noble) Messenger (of Allah)!” (27) "Ah! woe is me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! (28) Assuredly he misled me from the admonition after it had come unto me. Verily the Satan is ever unto man a betrayer. (29) And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. (30) And this is how We had appointed guilty people as enemies to every Prophet; and Allah is Sufficient, to guide and to aid. (31) Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. (32) And they will never bring you an example, but We shall bring you a true narration and better than it. (33) Those who will be pushed faces forward into Hell will be in a worse position, farther away from the path. (34)
