Juz 19
۞ Those who do not expect a meeting with Us say, "Why are angels not sent down to us?" Or "Why do we not see our Lord?" Surely, they are too proud of themselves and have greatly exceeded all bounds. (21) The Day whereon they shall behold the angels on that day there will be no joy for the culprits, and they will say: away! away! (22) Then We shall advance upon the work which they have done and render it as scattered dust. (23) On that Day, the companions of Paradise (will have) a better abode and a finer restingplace. (24) And on the Day whereon the heaven shall be rent asunder from the clouds and the angels shall be sent down with a great descending. (25) The real Kingdom on that Day will belong only to the Merciful, and it will be a very hard Day for the disbelievers. (26) The sinner will then bite his hand and say: "Would that I had taken the road with the Prophet. (27) O, woe to me! Would that I had not chosen so and so for a friend! (28) “He indeed led me astray from the advice that had come to me”; and Satan deserts man, leaving him unaided. (29) The Messenger says: 'O my Lord, my people have taken this Koran while deserting it' (30) Even so We have appointed to every Prophet an enemy among the sinners; but thy Lord suffices as a guide and as a helper. (31) And the disbelievers say, “Why was the Qur’an not sent down to him all at once?” This is how We sent it in stages, in order to strengthen your heart with it and We read it slowly, in stages. (32) And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. (33) those who are going to be driven to Hell upon their faces, have taken an utterly wrong stand and their way is most erroneous! (34)
