۞ Those people, who have no fear of coming before Us, say, "Why should not the angels be sent down to us? Or else we should see our Lord. " Great arrogance have they assumed in regard to themselves, and have transgressed all limits in their rebellion. (21) The day they see the angels there will be no happy tidings for the sinners; and they will say: "There is an insurmountable barrier!" (22) And We will proceed to what they have done of deeds, so We shall render them as scattered floating dust. (23) Those who have earned the Garden on that day will be better in their home and happier in their place of noonday rest; (24) And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and the angels will be sent down, with a grand descending. (25) The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels! (26) The sinner will then bite his hand and say: "Would that I had taken the road with the Prophet. (27) Oh, would that I had never chosen such a one for my companion -- (28) he made me forgetful of the warning after it had reached me. Satan is man's great betrayer." (29) And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. (30) Thus have We made for every prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help. (31) And those who disbelieve say: Why is the Qur'an not revealed unto him all at once? (It is revealed) thus that We may strengthen thy heart therewith; and We have arranged it in right order. (32) And no example or similitude do they bring (to oppose or to find fault in you or in this Quran), but We reveal to you the truth (against that similitude or example), and the better explanation thereof. (33) Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. (34)
