Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us ask: 'Why have no angels been sent to us? Why can we not see our Lord' How proud they are within themselves, and have become greatly disdainful. (21) The day when they will see the angels that day will not be of any happiness for the guilty and they will cry, “O God, erect a barrier between us and them!” (22) And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed. (23) (On the contrary) only those who have deserved the Garden, will have a good abode on that Day and a cool place for midday rest. (24) And on the Day whereon the heaven shall be rent asunder from the clouds and the angels shall be sent down with a great descending. (25) The dominion on that Day shall be the true dominion of the Compassionate, and it shall be a day upon the infidels hard. (26) It will be a hard day for the unbelievers. It will be a day when the unjust will bite their fingers, (regretfully) saying, "Would that we had followed the path of the Messengers. (27) "Ah! woe is me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! (28) Indeed, he led me astray from the remembrance [of God] after it had come unto me!" For [thus it is:] Satan is ever a betrayer of man. (29) And the Apostle will say: my Lord! verily my people took this Qur'an as a thing to be shunned. (30) And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper. (31) The unbelievers ask: 'Why was the Koran not sent down to him all at once' As such We strengthen your heart thereby, and We have recited it very distinctly. (32) And they bring thee no similitude but We bring thee the Truth (as against it), and better (than their similitude) as argument. (33) those who are going to be driven to Hell upon their faces, have taken an utterly wrong stand and their way is most erroneous! (34)
