Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ Say those who look not to encounter Us, 'Why have the angels not been sent down on us, or why see we not our Lord?' Waxed proud they have within them, and become greatly disdainful. (21) On the Day when they behold the angels, there will be no glad tidings for the sinners. They will say: 'A refuge which is forbidden' (22) Then We shall advance upon the work which they have done and render it as scattered dust. (23) The dwellers of Paradise (i.e. those who deserved it through their Faith and righteousness) will, on that Day, have the best abode, and have the fairest of places for repose. (24) Upon the day that heaven is split asunder with the clouds and the angels are sent down in majesty, (25) The true kingship on that day belongs to the Most Gracious; and that is hard for the disbelievers. (26) On that Day, the wrongdoer will bite his hands and say, "Would that I had walked in the Messenger's path! (27) Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! (28) He led me astray from the Warning after it had come to me. Satan always betrays man. (29) And the Noble Messenger submitted, “O my Lord indeed my people took this Qur’an as worthy of being abandoned.” (30) Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, criminals, etc.). But Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper. (31) Now they who are bent on denying the truth are wont to ask. "Why has not the Qur'an been bestowed on him from on high in one single revelation?" [it has been revealed] in this manner so that We might strengthen thy heart thereby - for We have so arranged its component parts that they form one consistent whole (32) We will support you with the Truth and the best interpretation whenever the infidels argue against you. (33) Those who will be dragged headlong into Hell shall have an evil place to dwell in, for they have strayed far from the right path. (34)
