Juz 19
۞ And those who do not expect to meet Us said, “Why were the angels not sent down to us or we been able to see our Lord?” Indeed they thought too highly of themselves and they turned extremely rebellious. (21) The Day whereon they shall behold the angels on that day there will be no joy for the culprits, and they will say: away! away! (22) We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. (23) The inhabitants of the Garden will have the best residence and the finest lodging on that Day. (24) And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and the angels will be sent down, with a grand descending. (25) on that Day [it will become obvious to all that] true sovereignty belongs to the Most Gracious [alone]: hence, a Day of distress will it be for all who deny the truth, (26) On the Day when the wrong-doer shall gnaw his hands saying: would that I had taken with the apostle a way! (27) Ah! woe unto me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! (28) He led me away from the true guidance after it had come to us. Satan is a traitor to people." (29) And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. (30) Even so We have appointed to every Prophet an enemy among the sinners; but thy Lord suffices as a guide and as a helper. (31) The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. (32) Every time they raise an objection, We will bring you the truth and the best of explanations. (33) [And so, tell those who are bent on denying the truth that] they who shall be gathered unto hell upon their faces - it is they who [in the life to come] will be worst in station and still farther astray from the path [of truth]!
