Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ Those who do not expect a meeting with Us say, "Why are angels not sent down to us?" Or "Why do we not see our Lord?" Surely, they are too proud of themselves and have greatly exceeded all bounds. (21) [Yet] on that Day - the Day on which they shall see the angels there will be no glad tiding for those who were lost in sin; and they will exclaim, "By a forbidding ban [are we from God's grace debarred]!" (22) And We shall turn to whatever deeds they did (in this life), and We shall make such deeds as floating dust scattered about. (23) The dwellers of Paradise on that day will have the best residence and resting place. (24) A day when the heaven with the clouds will be rent asunder and the angels will be sent down, a grand descent. (25) The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers. (26) and a Day on which the evildoer will bite his hands [in despair,] exclaiming: "Oh, would that I had followed the path shown to me by the apostle! (27) Would that I had never chosen soandso for my companion! (28) Assuredly he misled me from the admonition after it had come unto me. Verily the Satan is ever unto man a betrayer. (29) The Messenger will say, "Lord, my people did indeed discard the Quran," (30) Thus, from the sinful people We made enemies for every Prophet. Your Lord is a Sufficient Guide and Helper. (31) And the disbelievers say, “Why was the Qur’an not sent down to him all at once?” This is how We sent it in stages, in order to strengthen your heart with it and We read it slowly, in stages. (32) They bring not to thee any similitude but that We bring thee the truth, and better in exposition. (33) Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. (34)
