Juz 19
۞ And those who do not expect to meet Us said, “Why were the angels not sent down to us or we been able to see our Lord?” Indeed they thought too highly of themselves and they turned extremely rebellious. (21) Upon the day that they see the angels, no good tidings that day for the sinners; they shall say, 'A ban forbidden!' (22) Then We shall turn to what they had done and render it vain like scattered dust. (23) [whereas] on that same Day those who are destined for paradise will be graced with the best of abodes and the fairest place of repose. (24) A day when the heaven with the clouds will be rent asunder and the angels will be sent down, a grand descent. (25) The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels! (26) And the day when the unjust one shall bite his hands saying: O! would that I had taken a way with the Apostle (27) Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! (28) Certainly he led me astray from the reminder after it had come to me; and the Shaitan fails to aid man. (29) AND [on that Day] the Apostle will say: "O my Sustainer! Behold, [some of] my people have come to regard this Qur'an as something [that ought to be] discarded!" (30) O Muhammad, in this very way We have made the criminals the enemies of every Prophet, but your Lord suffices for you as your Guide and Helper. (31) The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. (32) There is not an example they advance to which We do not give you a right answer and a better explanation. (33) Those who will be driven headlong into hell will have a terrible dwelling; they have certainly gone astray. (34)
