Juz 19
۞ And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence. (21) On the day when they shall see the angels, there shall be no joy on that day for the guilty, and they shall say: It is a forbidden thing totally prohibited. (22) and We shall take all that they did and turn it into scattered dust. (23) And for the People of the Garden on that day is a better destination and account, and a better place of afternoon rest. (24) And on the day when the heaven shall burst asunder with the clouds, and the angels shall be sent down descending (in ranks). (25) The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers. (26) The Day that the wrong-doer will bite at his hands, he will say, "Oh! would that I had taken a (straight) path with the Messenger! (27) Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! (28) He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter." (29) The prophet will say: "O my Lord, my people had fettered the Qur'an." (30) And even so We appointed unto every prophet an enemy from among the culprits. And thine Lord sufficeth as Guide and Helper. (31) The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. (32) Every time they raise an objection, We will bring you the truth and the best of explanations. (33) (As for) those who shall be gathered upon their faces to hell, they are in a worse plight and straying farther away from the path. (34)
