Juz 19
۞ Those who have no desire to meet Us have said, "Would that the angels had been sent to us or that we could see our Lord." They are really filled with pride and have committed the greatest and worst kind of rebellion and hostility. (21) The Day whereon they shall behold the angels on that day there will be no joy for the culprits, and they will say: away! away! (22) We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. (23) The inhabitants of Paradise that day, better shall be their lodging, fairer their resting-place. (24) And on the Day whereon the heaven shall be rent asunder from the clouds and the angels shall be sent down with a great descending. (25) the Kingdom that day, the true Kingdom, shall belong to the All-merciful and it shall be a day harsh for the unbelievers. (26) And the day when the unjust one shall bite his hands saying: O! would that I had taken a way with the Apostle (27) "Ah! woe is me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! (28) Indeed, he led me astray from the remembrance [of God] after it had come unto me!" For [thus it is:] Satan is ever a betrayer of man. (29) Then the Messenger will say: "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense." (30) Thus do We keep opponents among the sinners for every apostle; yet your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper. (31) The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. (32) And they come not unto thee with a similitude but We bring thee the truth and an excellent interpretation. (33) Those who will be gathered into Gehenna (Hell) upon their faces shall be in the worst in place, and have gone further astray from the Path. (34)
