Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ Those who do not expect a meeting with Us say, "Why are angels not sent down to us?" Or "Why do we not see our Lord?" Surely, they are too proud of themselves and have greatly exceeded all bounds. (21) The day they see the angels there will be no happy tidings for the sinners; and they will say: "There is an insurmountable barrier!" (22) And We shall turn to whatever deeds they (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) did, and We shall make such deeds as scattered floating particles of dust. (23) The dwellers of Paradise (i.e. those who deserved it through their Faith and righteousness) will, on that Day, have the best abode, and have the fairest of places for repose. (24) On that Day, the heaven is split asunder with clouds and the angels are sent down in majesty, (25) and the Absolute kingdom will belong to the Beneficent God. (26) And the day when the unjust one shall bite his hands saying: O! would that I had taken a way with the Apostle (27) Woe to us! Would that we had not been friends with so and so. (28) He led me away from the true guidance after it had come to us. Satan is a traitor to people." (29) The Messenger says: 'O my Lord, my people have taken this Koran while deserting it' (30) O Muhammad, in this very way We have made the criminals the enemies of every Prophet, but your Lord suffices for you as your Guide and Helper. (31) Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. (32) And no example or similitude do they bring (to oppose or to find fault in you or in this Quran), but We reveal to you the truth (against that similitude or example), and the better explanation thereof. (33) The ones who are gathered on their faces to Hell - those are the worst in position and farthest astray in [their] way. (34)
