Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ And those who do not expect to meet Us said, “Why were the angels not sent down to us or we been able to see our Lord?” Indeed they thought too highly of themselves and they turned extremely rebellious. (21) The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible." (22) We shall call their deeds into Our presence and scatter them into the air as dust (turn them devoid of all virtue). (23) On that Day, the companions of Paradise (will have) a better abode and a finer restingplace. (24) A day when the heaven with the clouds will be rent asunder and the angels will be sent down, a grand descent. (25) on that Day [it will become obvious to all that] true sovereignty belongs to the Most Gracious [alone]: hence, a Day of distress will it be for all who deny the truth, (26) And the day when the unjust will gnaw his hands, saying, “Alas, if only I had chosen a way along with the (Noble) Messenger (of Allah)!” (27) Woe to us! Would that we had not been friends with so and so. (28) Assuredly he misled me from the admonition after it had come unto me. Verily the Satan is ever unto man a betrayer. (29) And the Noble Messenger submitted, “O my Lord indeed my people took this Qur’an as worthy of being abandoned.” (30) Even so have We appointed unto every prophet an opponent from among the guilty; but Allah sufficeth for a Guide and Helper. (31) Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. (32) And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. (33) Those who shall be mustered to Gehenna upon their faces -- they shall be worse in place, and gone further astray from the way. (34)
