Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ And those who fear not the meeting with Us say: wherefore are not angels sent down unto us or wherefore we see not our Lord! Assuredly they have proven stiff-necked in their souls and have exceeded the bounds with excess great. (21) The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible." (22) We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. (23) The dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in a better abiding-place and a better resting-place. (24) And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent. (25) The true kingship on that day belongs to the Most Gracious; and that is hard for the disbelievers. (26) It will be a hard day for the unbelievers. It will be a day when the unjust will bite their fingers, (regretfully) saying, "Would that we had followed the path of the Messengers. (27) "Ah! woe is me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! (28) He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter." (29) AND [on that Day] the Apostle will say: "O my Sustainer! Behold, [some of] my people have come to regard this Qur'an as something [that ought to be] discarded!" (30) And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the sinners and sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper. (31) The unbelievers have said, "Why was the whole Quran not revealed to him at once?" We have revealed it to you in gradual steps to strengthen your hearts and give you explanations. (32) And they come not unto thee with a similitude but We bring thee the truth and an excellent interpretation. (33) Those who will be dragged headlong into Hell shall have an evil place to dwell in, for they have strayed far from the right path. (34)
