Blest is He Who, if He willed, shall appoint for them something better than that: gardens whereunder the rivers flow, and appoint for them palaces. (10) Aye! they belie the Hour; and We have gotten ready for him who belieth the Hour a Flame. (11) When it shall come into their sight from a distant place, they shall hear its vehement raging and roaring. (12) When they are thrown into a narrow space, chained together, they will plead for death. (13) Call not today for a single death but call for death manifold. (14) Ask them "Is this (Fire) better or the everlasting Garden which has been promised to the God-fearing righteous people?" which will be the recompense of their good deeds and the final destination of their journey (15) “In it for them is all that they may desire, abiding in it for ever; a promise incumbent upon your Lord, that is prayed for.” (16) On the day when the unbelievers and whatever they had been worshipping besides God will be resurrected, He will ask the idols, "Did you mislead My servants or did they themselves go astray from the right path?" (17) They will say: Be Thou Glorified! it was not for us to choose any protecting friends beside thee; but Thou didst give them and their fathers ease till they forgot the warning and became lost folk. (18) [God will say], "Now, they have given the lie to all your assertions, and you can neither ward off [your punishment] nor obtain any help." For, whoever of you has committed evil, shall be caused by Us to taste great suffering!" (19) We never sent before you apostles who did not eat food and walk the market places. We make some of you the means of trying the others. So will you persevere? Your Lord is always watching. (20)
