In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ This is a Surah which We have sent down and We have made it mandatory, and We have sent down clear Commandments in it so that you may learn lessons. (1) (As for) the fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them, (giving) a hundred stripes, and let not pity for them detain you in the matter of obedience to Allah, if you believe in Allah and the last day, and let a party of believers witness their chastisement. (2) The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator or polytheist, and none marries her except a fornicator or a polytheist, and that has been made unlawful to the believers. (3) And those who accuse chaste women and do not bring four witnesses to testify punish them with eighty lashes and do not ever accept their testimony; and it is they who are the wicked. (4) except that of those who afterwards repent and reform themselves; God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. (5) Those who accuse their wives and do not have any witnesses except themselves, should swear four times in the name of God, the testimony of each such person being that he is speaking the truth, (6) And the fifth (time) that the curse of Allah be on him if he is one of the liars. (7) And it shall avert the punishment from her if she bear witness before Allah four times that the thing he saith is indeed false, (8) Her fifth oath being that the curse of God be on her if her husband should be speaking the truth. (9) AND WERE it not for God's favour upon you, [O man,] and His grace, and that God is a wise acceptor of repentance...! (10)
