Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, (93) My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." (94) And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. (95) [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. (96) And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). (97) I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." (98) Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, (99) That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. (100) And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. (101) then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. (102) but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. (103) The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. (104) “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” (105) They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. (106) Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. (107) He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" (108) There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' (109) “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” (110) "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." (111) He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? (112) They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' (113) He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. (114) Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" (115) Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. (116) He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. (117) And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." (118)
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
