Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
