Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” (93) exclude me from the unjust people". (94) Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. (95) Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. (96) And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). (97) and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" (98) Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, (99) "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. (100) Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! (101) And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; (102) but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. (103) Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. (104) (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' (105) They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: (106) Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." (107) He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' (108) Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. (109) But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. (110) Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. (111) He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" (112) They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' (113) He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. (114) Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? (115) [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! (116) And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. (117) And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' (118)
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon). Sent down in Mecca after The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa') before Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
