And yet, whoever does [the least] of righteous deeds and is a believer withal, his endeavour shall not be disowned: for, behold, We shall record it in his favour. 94 And a ban is laid on every town (population) which We have destroyed that they shall not return (to this world again, nor repent to Us). 95 Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 You and what you worship instead of God will be fuel for hell: to it you shall all come -- 98 Had these indeed been gods they would not have gone there. But (as it is), all of you shall ever abide in it." 99 Moaning will be their lot therein, and nothing [else] will they hear therein. 100 But those whom We have surpassed with the finest (rank) from Us shall be far removed from it, 101 They shall not hear the least sound thereof, and in that felicity which their souls desire they shall be abiders. 102 They will have safety from the mighty terror, and angels will receive them, (saying:) "This is your day which had been promised you." 103 The day We shall roll up the heavens like a written scroll, We shall revert it (to nothing) as it was before We first created it. This is a promise incumbent on Us; We will certainly fulfil it. 104 We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance: 'The righteous among My worshipers shall inherit the earth' 105 This Qur’an is sufficient for people who are devout. 106 (Muhammad), We have sent you for no other reason but to be a mercy for mankind. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 Then, if they should turn their backs, say: 'I have proclaimed to you all equally, even though I know not whether near or far is that you are promised.' 109 Surely He knows what is spoken openly and He knows what you hide; 110 I think that this [reprieve] is possibly a trial for you, an opportunity to enjoy yourselves until an appointed time." 111 He saith: my Lord! judge Thou with truth. And our Lord is the Compassionate Whose help is to be sought against that which ye utter. 112
