They will question you about the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will scatter them as ashes 105 and leave the earth level and bare, 106 that you will see no depression or elevation in it". 107 That day they will follow the summoner from whom there will be no receding; and their voices will be hushed before Ar-Rahman, and you will not hear a sound but faint shuffling. 108 Upon that day the intercession will not profit, save for him to whom the All-merciful gives leave, and whose speech He approves. 109 He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they cannot encompass Him with their knowledge, 110 ۞ And [on that Day] all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being; and undone shall be he who bears [a burden of] evildoing 111 but whosoever does righteous works, being a believer, shall have no fear of suffering wrong or loss." 112 That is why We have sent it down as an eloquent Qur'an, and explained in different ways the intimidations through it that they may haply take heed, or perhaps it may lead them to contemplate. 113 exalted is God, the True King. Do not be impatient with the Quran before its revelation is completed, and say, "My Lord, increase my knowledge." 114 We made a covenant with Adam, but he forgot and We found in him no constancy. 115
