And they ask you about the mountains, so say, "My Lord will blow them away with a blast. (105) and leave them a desolate waste, (106) "Nothing crooked or curved wilt thou see in their place." (107) That Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. (108) On that Day no intercession will avail, except from one who has received the sanction of the Merciful and of whose words He approves, (109) [for] He knows all that lies open before men and all that is hidden from them, whereas they cannot encompass Him with their knowledge. (110) ۞ And [on that Day] all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being; and undone shall be he who bears [a burden of] evildoing (111) But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). (112) And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. (113) So high exalted be God, the true King! And hasten not with the Koran ere its revelation is accomplished unto thee; and say, 'O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.' (114) And indeed We made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot, and We found on his part no firm will-power. (115)
