He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. (25) Make my task easy (26) And loose a knot from my tongue, (27) That they may understand my speech. (28) and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - (29) Harun, my brother. (30) Add Thou through him to my strength, (31) “And make him a partner in my task.” (32) That we may glorify Thee much (33) and remember Thee without cease! (34) Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. (35) [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. (36) Indeed, We showed Our favour to you before also, (37) Remember when We inspired your mother with a certain inspiration (38) Saying! cast him in the ark, and cast him into the river, and the river will throw him on the bank, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him up. And I cast on thee love from Me in order that thou mayest be formed under Mine eye. (39) Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. (40) And I produced you for Myself. (41) "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. (42) Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, (43) and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." (44) They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." (45) He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. (46) They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. (47) It has been revealed to us that punishment will befall him who denies and turns away. (48) He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" (49) He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). (50) (The Pharaoh) said: "And what about the former generations?" (51) He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Record. My Lord neither erreth nor forgetteth, (52) Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, (53) Consume them as food or for grazing your cattle. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of reason". (54)
