T H (Taa Haa)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ O MAN! (1) We have not sent down the Koran upon thee for thee to be unprosperous, (2) Except as a reminder for one who fears. (3) a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. (4) The Compassionate on the Throne is established. (5) Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. (6) Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. (7) Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names. (8) Has the story of Moses come to you? (9) When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." (10) But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses! (11) Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! (12) I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. (13) I am God. There is no deity save Me; so worship Me alone, and say your prayers in My remembrance. (14) The Hour is coming. I almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. (15) Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." (16) "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" (17) He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it. (18) The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". (19) and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. (20) He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: (21) And thrust thy hand within thine armpit, it will come forth white without hurt. (That will be) another token. (22) for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. (23) Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' (24)
