T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta Ha. (1) We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. (2) it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; (3) A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. (4) The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). (5) Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. (6) If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. (7) Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names. (8) And did the news of Moosa reach you? (9) When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. (10) When he approached it, a voice called out: (11) I am your Lord! Take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. (12) "I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). (13) "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. (14) Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). (15) Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. (16) "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" (17) He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." (18) He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! (19) So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. (20) Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. (21) And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, (22) That We may shew thee of Our Signs the greatest. (23) "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. (24)
