T H (Taa Haa)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ TA HA. (1) We have sent the Quran only as reminder (2) But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - (3) A down-sent from Him who Created the earth and the heavens high. (4) the All-compassionate sat Himself upon the Throne; to Him belongs (5) Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. (6) And if thou speakest aloud, then lo! He knoweth the secret (thought) and (that which is yet) more hidden. (7) Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. (8) Has the story of Moses reached you? (9) When he saw a fire and said to his wife, “Wait I have seen a fire perhaps I may bring you an ember from it or find a way upon the fire.” (10) And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! (11) I am your Lord! Take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. (12) I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. (13) “Indeed it is Me, Allah there is no God except I therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” (14) Verily the Hour is coming - I wish to conceal it - in order that every one may be requited according to that which he hath endeavoured. (15) Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." (16) And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? (17) He said: it is my staff; I lean there on; and therewith beat down fodder for my sheep; and for me therein are other purposes. (18) "Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice). (19) So Moosa put it down thereupon it became a fast moving serpent. (20) 'Take it, and do not fear' He said, 'We will restore it to its former state. (21) And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. (22) So We would show thee some of Our greatest signs. (23) Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed."
